Body Language

Her pale thin lips
stuttered
on thought betrayal
Eyes caged
dark circled
sadness
Foot-tapping
beats
nervous shifting
moved like dance
acting

Fingers curled
clenched/repeat
as if
curl-clench
was discipline
I watched in
recognitioned
worry
Her language
of despair
reflected
motion

a sigh
slumped shoulders
a tear

inside the sound of two

boogie nights'
roll closer
north and south
moving down avenues
dancing nights melody

inside the sound
of two

music seeps
electric hums
breathing bass
arrousing crescendos
victory

violins string
love-lettered
dawns and
inspire
tonights song

inside the sound
of two

I live on the west coast of Canada where the seas caress the feet of the Rocky Mountains and the sky falls on its peaks. I am content to stare at this scene while I dabble in the Arts.
